Nero’s Whisker Club is a Shiva Foundation program created in honor of our beloved black cat, Nero. This program is dedicated to helping community stray cats who are friendly and adoptable find safe, loving homes.
While Shiva Foundation’s broader mission centers on spay/neuter for community cats, Nero’s Whisker Club focuses specifically on identifying social strays, providing them with necessary veterinary care, and preparing them for adoption. Through fosters and forever homes, these cats are given a second chance at life as cherished companions.

Bramble
Age:18 weeks
Gender:Male
Good with: Cats and small dogs
Bio: Bramble is a goofy, cuddly burst of sunshine looking for his person. He has nystagmus, which causes tiny eye movements, but it does not affect his life at all. He is completely normal and happy.
He loves cat trees, loves cuddles, and will politely bug you for kisses. Bramble gets along well with other cats and can do fine with dogs with a slow introduction.
Bindi
Age:16 weeks
Gender: Female
Good with: Cats and small dogs
Bio: Bindi is a tiny wild child with bold Scottish-straight–style eyes, petite legs, and a fearless spirit. As the youngest kitten from the Homeless Camp colony, she had a rough start, including trauma from a camp fire. But she is healing beautifully in a safe, indoor environment.
Independent, playful, and full of spunk, Bindi is just learning what cuddles and kisses mean. She enjoys other cats and does well with slow dog introductions.
Nyra
Age:18 weeks
Gender: Female
Good with: Cats and small dogs
Bio: Nyra is a 12-week-old female kitten who’s a little shy at first but turns into the sweetest, most loving companion once she warms up. She loves her food, playtime, and long naps in sunny spots.
She’s ready for her forever home. Message me if you’d like to meet her.
Hazel
Age:18 weeks
Gender: Female
Good with: Cats and small dogs
Bio:
Some kittens lock eyes with you. Hazel’s eyes dance for you.
Hazel doesn’t want perfection.
She doesn’t want pity.
She just wants a chance.
At just 16 weeks old, she’s already mastered the art of surviving, loving, and trusting again , even when it takes her a moment to warm up.
Her nystagmus gives her a unique look, like she’s always taking in the whole room… but this girl can CHASE, POUNCE, and PLAY just like any other kitten. Maybe even harder.
Once she decides you’re safe, Hazel will climb right into your heart (and onto your lap) and stay there.
