Upcoming Projects

At Shiva Foundation, our work is focused on helping community cats through TNR, spay and neuter access, and ongoing colony support.

We are currently working on multiple community cat projects across Chattanooga, surrounding areas, and North Georgia. Many of these requests come from caregivers who are overwhelmed, rural areas with little to no access to low-cost clinics, and colonies where cats are multiplying without help.

Current Project Load

Right now, we are working through several upcoming TNR projects involving colonies ranging from small groups of 5 cats to large colonies of 30 or more cats.

Each project may include:

  1. Spay and neuter surgeries
  2. Rabies vaccines
  3. Deworming or basic treatment when needed
  4. Trap-neuter-return coordination
  5. Transport to and from clinic appointments
  6. Food support for colony caregivers
  7. Follow-up support after cats are returned

Why These Projects Matter

Every cat fixed prevents more kittens from being born into difficult outdoor conditions. TNR is the most humane and effective way to reduce suffering, stabilize colonies, and give community cats a better life.

While we are not a rescue, we do step in when situations become urgent, especially when sick kittens, injured cats, or unsafe conditions are involved. But our main focus remains stopping the cycle at the source through spay and neuter.

How You Can Help

Our upcoming projects depend on community support. You can help by sponsoring surgeries, donating supplies, providing food, or sharing our work.

A donation of any amount helps us say yes to more cats waiting for help.

Support Our Upcoming Projects

Your support helps us cover surgery costs, transportation, supplies, and food for community cat colonies in need.

Together, we can prevent suffering before it starts.
